Ruddock Hall

My experience in Ruddock Hall has been a solid 8/10 for my Freshman year of college. The location is somewhat far compared to the other dorms, but overall, very nice. Depending on if you have loud residents living above you or not, you may hear stomping and pounding throughout the day that might be very frustrating at times. more

Wallwork Hall

It was pretty clean when I moved in. It has the most people living here on campus because it's the biggest building. It's not super noisy, and everyone is super nice here. The RA's are very helpful and welcoming. more

Putt Hall

I went to IUP for my freshman year of college. I did transfer school and now I'm currently at Muhlenberg. I wanted to write about my experience at IUP because although it wasn't the school for me the dorms were really nice. I had my own room and only shared a bathroom and kitchen with my suite mate. It was comfy and I felt safe in there because I had a door to my individual bedroom that locked plus the door into the kitchen. more

Suites on Pratt

Suites on Pratt is a great place to live, and it is in a nice location on campus. The staff is friendly and amenities like study rooms, computer labs, laundry rooms, trash rooms, and student hangout areas are included. more

Northern Suites

Northern has a great location close to the HUB and dining hall. It is clean and a little further away from central campus, making it more quite than most residence halls. Because of this, it is also a hike to some classes, and parts of campus such as Starbucks. Overall, Northern is a great option for housing if you're looking for a quite place to live and study that is close to main dining. If you're looking for partying and activities and close walks to class, it is not suggested. more

Suites on Maple East

Although I have some pretty noisy neighbors, it is overall an amazing experience. When I was applying to school here, they praised that the dorm rooms were "apartment like suites." They really lived up to that too. I love my dorm room so much. I call it home. I decorated it so nice so I could feel like it was my room back at home. At my first university that I attended, we shared bathrooms with the entire floor. Here at IUP we have our own with our roommate and it just makes the living experience so much better. more

Delaney Hall

Delaney isn't a bad place to live, but sometimes it's hit or miss with roommates and/or neighbors. You can hear music and loud talking from those on the other side of the wall, but, if your neighbors end up being quiet and considerate, there shouldn't be a problem. more

It is a very well placed hall. Being right next to one of the main buildings for classes. Also, very close to the library and the Crimson Cafe. Close to parking garages and some close campus living areas. Wishing walking distance of a grocery store and hospital. Overall good experience more

Whitmyre Hall

Whitmyre Hall is a true living and learning community where the Cook Honors College students live. It is a good place for community, but the rooms are just OK. There seems to be a dampness/moisture problem. I like Whit, but I’m jealous of my friends in suite style rooms. more

Sutton Hall

Sutton Hall has a beautiful view of the campus and other on-looking buildings. It is very close the dinning halls, so if you are hungry it's only a few steps away! There is a laundry room on each floor, plus a laundromat when you don't want to wait. There are plenty of street lights to enjoy the beautiful night view. Speaking of night, there are sometimes small gatherings with other people who reside in the dorms; It is a great way to socialized and become familiar with one's dormmates. more
