Suites on Maple East Dorm Reviews at IUP

Although I have some pretty noisy neighbors, it is overall an amazing experience. When I was applying to school here, they praised that the dorm rooms were "apartment like suites." They really lived up to that too. I love my dorm room so much. I call it home. I decorated it so nice so I could feel like it was my room back at home. At my first university that I attended, we shared bathrooms with the entire floor. Here at IUP we have our own with our roommate and it just makes the living experience so much better.

suites on Maple East is a quiet location thats near the folger a late night food center and a post office. We also have a counseling center and a health center on the ground floor. Its also a leasure walk to classes and the football field.

The dorms were very nice and clean, the noise level was fairly quiet at all time besides my neighbors who were fairly noisy at some times such as 2AM. The maintenance people also took a fairly decent amount of time to have anything fixed in the dorm when you called. The doors were not hung straight so when the blowers in the room were on the door would rattle. Wind also got in through the windows very easily so the winters were very cold in the dorms, I had to wear at least long pants, a t shirt, and a hoodie, and it was hard to get out of bed because it was so cold.
