I am a freshman and Mathes is a freshmen only dorm so I like how I am surrounded by students that feel the same as me. The RAs are all supportive and mentors to us in the hall. Room sizes differ, but that can be a good thing. It can get a little loud at times, but a certain time of night, everything quiets down. The cleaning staff are doing their absolute best to keep us safe. The only thing I don’t really like about Mathes is that sometimes the ac or lights don’t work properly and it takes awhile to get fixed.
