William Jewell College Dorm Reviews

I am a freshman and Mathes is a freshmen only dorm so I like how I am surrounded by students that feel the same as me. The RAs are all supportive and mentors to us in the hall. Room sizes differ, but that can be a good thing. It can get a little loud at times, but a certain time of night, everything quiets down. The cleaning staff are doing their absolute best to keep us safe. The only thing I don’t really like about Mathes is that sometimes the ac or lights don’t work properly and it takes awhile to get fixed. more

It’s decent, but there are too many issues with AC and hot water availability. The building needs an update. There are only community bathrooms, and the kitchen, trash room, and laundry room are all on the bottom floor so it’s inconvenient to live on the top floor. more

Eaton Hall was a great place to stay. The rooms are very spacious compared to the other dorms. It’s the closest to the cafeteria, parking lot, gymnasium, and football/soccer fields. The boots floors had concrete floors for students with pets, and there was a large wash area for pets as well. One thing I would change about Eaton is the heating/cooling system. I wish I was able to turn it on the A/C when I want, and the heat when I want. Overall, it was a great place to stay. more
