Wolman Hall Dorm Reviews at Johns Hopkins

By far, Wolman Hall is the best dorm in the university. You get privacy in your dorm room and still will be able to socialize with others in the common room. It is the best of both worlds. With a study room, common kitchen, gym, computer room as well as a gaming room, there is nothing that this dorm lacks.

My experience is likely different due to the pandemic, which has made my floor pretty quiet. The dorm restroom was a bit dirty when I first arrived, likely because no one lived here for half a year. However, after some clean-up, Wolman is pretty clean for such an old building. The inside is a lot cleaner than the outside - they should wash the entrance. It is pretty close to food options and stores. However Charles Commons, right next door is even closer to them, it is also newer. If I had the chance to pick dorms I would pick Charles over Wolman. Just to add on Wolman also has plenty of security but the small common rooms are lackluster.

Best dorm in my opinion. Farther from campus than the other dorms, but I never saw a rodent as my friends in other dorms did. Very quiet, although security was nothing special. I loved having a suite bathroom I didn't have to share with an entire floor.

I really enjoyed my experience at Wolman. The convenience of living right above Charmar was amazing for picking up last minute groceries, a quick lunch, or a delicious sandwich. The suite style dorms were great as there was no communal bathrooms and it was more quiet than the AMRs within the main campus portion. There was also the convenience of study spaces, the mail room being within the dorm, as well as a workout room!

Wolman Hall is great becuase its really clean and quiet. The dorms are suit style so you only have to share a bathroom with a few othre people. I especially like wolman becuase its kind of off campus but not really.

Wolman hall is a great residence hall if you rather have a more apartment style living arrangement. Wolman has quad arrangements so you typically share a room with one other person and then have a shared space with a kitchenette and bathroom that you share with another pair of roommates. My experience was great. You get to cook on your own when you want with the kitchenette and you don't have to worry about using a communal bathroom. It's a really great dorm to meet people and is on the block right across the street from campus!
