Verder Hall Dorm Reviews at Kent State

The building is clean and is in ok walking distance; however, there is no a/c in the room. There is A/C in the hallway and bathroom. Your room can get so hot that it feels like you're standing outside in the sun. Also, a few weeks into the fall semester a pipe broke so they had to turn the water off. So there was a bad smell in the hall and it felt like an inferno.

Verder Hall was the oldest dorm on campus at the time so it did not have as many accommodations as the other dorms. For example, it did not have air conditioning. The elevator was also a little scary since it made some questionable noises and looked like it had seen better days.
