Ormsby Hall Dorm Reviews at Lawrence

Ormsby is known for being “haunted” on campus, but I had a great time in this hall. While the walls are very thin, and you can hear what your neighbours are up to all the time, it has private bathrooms and is one of the cleaner dorms. It is also in my favourite part of campus and closest to my classes and friends dorms.

Ormsby is in a great location if you are a science major since the science building is right next door. Living inside is really peaceful and quiet, but if you do live on the 1st floor, and your upstairs neighbors are moving furniture around you can definitely hear that. Something I love about Ormsby is the "private bathrooms", instead of having a communal shower and bathroom they are put into their own separate rooms so you can do your business without worrying about other folk in the dormitory. Ormsby is also one of the oldest dorms on campus and it comes with a very cozy feel which is something I appreciate about it.
