I lived in Leo Hall during my freshman year at Marist College. During our freshman orientation, we got tours of each freshman dorm building, and were able to put them into an order of preference. I chose Leo because it seemed quieter than other dorms, but not too quiet that I would get bored/would not be able to make friends. My experience was just that - I was able to study/sleep when I needed, and still get that "normal" dorm experience. RAs had weekly, if not daily, activities for residents to participate in, and that really, really made my experience in Leo special because it helped me transition to college life easily.
