Turlington Hall Dorm Reviews at NC State

Turlington is in a fantastic location! Next to Talley Student Union, Carmicheal Gym, equidistance to the two main dining halls, near the library, and a 15 min max walk to even the farthest classes on main campus. It's home to the Arts Village, which I LOVE, but it sure is a different demographic than the rest of the university. The staff are wonderful and keep our bathrooms well maintained. We also have sinks in each rooms, which isn't always a guarantee (crazy, right?).

The best location! Right across from the free expression tunnel, directly across from the gym, and next to Talley. Two common areas (1 upstairs and a larger 1 downstairs). Rooms come with a sink which other dorms on campus do not have. Student ID is required to get in to the building and then you also have your room key. The first floor is all female while the second and third floors are split with males on one side and females on the other. Turlington is the arts village so you are required to take part in art events around campus and Raleigh each semester.

Turlington is in a great location because it's close to pretty much anything you could need. Since Turlington is filled with members of the Arts village is has a really nice community. Sometimes the bathrooms are messy, but that's because they are hall-style. They are cleaned every day so it just depends on how messy the people living there are.
