Walker center is an older building and provides a very social environment for freshmen students so although its not a luxury stay is is a good college experience. My highest recommendation to incoming freshmen is to invest in a dehumidifier and air purifier. This will provide you with a better air quality, the rooms tend to get very humid so if you do not have a dehumidifier picture frames or anything hung on the walls will not stay. Walker is a great place to make friends because everyone is connected so get out of your room and socialize with your hall to have a better experience. Maintenance is very reactive so as long as you contact them with any issues you have you will be okay!
