When I was living in the Adams McCasland tower it had many faulty fire alarms in the middle of the night. As it was the oldest tower on campus, it consequently had (what I assumed to be black) mold growing in the air vents that caused me to have many health problems related to my asthma. I had to call into work frequently, as I was sick every month with some sort of respiratory infection. Towards the end of my stay in the dorms (which was cut short due to COVID-19) my floor flooded, causing half of my floor to have to move to another dorm. There were about 4 of us, myself included, who did not have enough damage that was deemed to have us moved to a separate dorm tower (even though they really should have moved us out). I did enjoy my time in the dorms, but it definitely wasnβt because of the facility, it was because of the fellow friends that I lived with on the floor.
