Fort Awesome Residence Hall Dorm Reviews at Purchase

I only stayed in fort awesome for a month and I had no problem's with anyone it was amazing since it had it's own private bathroom with your roommate. cleaning and loudness depends on the people around you.

The dorm is far from other buildings when heading to class. Especially since the dorm is practically the first building you see when entering the campus but it is slightly better conditioned in the rooms than the previous dorm.

Biggest complaint is that the doors are not soundproof AT ALL. All the dorms are really close to dining options and Fort is great because it’s right on the main road. For the most part, things are kept up to date and the rooms are pretty big.

Excellent location (right outside the Starbucks and convenience store) and has a decent amount of amenities. The elevator, air conditioning, and private bathroom are a huge plus. The triples are a bit too small but a double is just fine.

I like it, we all get our own bathrooms. Nice and clean. We get our own bathroom, and also have a Starbucks in the dorm, that's pretty cool. I don't mind staying in this hall for the rest of my years until I graduate.

Fort Awesome has been my first dormitory experience and I am quite satisfied. Every dorm comes with the few kids that are loud, however, I haven’t had an issue with anyone bothering me. Better yet, I haven’t bothered anyone else. I am a music composition student and even when my speakers are at a reasonable volume, it is hard to hear in the hall (which means the people above me or next to me most certainly cannot hear it). RA’s are all friendly and staff make themselves approachable.

Fort Awesome has been very homey. My favorite part of the room is the given amua cabinet that gives a tremendous amount of space for clothes, supplies, shoes, etc. The only iffy aspect of the room is that the temperature does not always reflect the adjusting temperature that you put it on until later on. But besides that, I love the room.
