DeMattias Hall Dorm Reviews at SLU

Overall enjoy living here. I live in a single which I really appreciate, which makes up of other things such as having communal bathrooms and the location of the building (one of the furthest dorms on campus, next to Marguerite). Only for sorority and fraternity members, but definitely worth it if you are.

I loved being so close to all of my friend and being able to meet so many new people. Living in DeMattias Hall made my sophomore year so much better! Sometimes it can be noisey, but it just made the whole building so much closer and that much more fun!

It’s a fun place to live because you get to live with all of your Greek life friends! But some people are really gross, my floor did not have a problem but others did. The single is a good sized space! Be careful with command strips the paint comes off easily!

My roommate and I got a bad room cause of covid, but the staff has been great and since not everyone has moved in they will allow us to move into singles. It is a great community since all of Greek life lives there! You get closer with your sisters and other sororities and fraternities on campus.
