Cutter Hall Dorm Reviews at Smith

I would recommend living in Cutter. The building was recently updated, the rooms were spacious, and the communal bathrooms were cleaned daily. We also had our own private study room, which proved very useful. My only issue with Cutter was that the bathrooms could get quite gross and dirty, however that was less of a problem with the dorm and more of a problem with who was living in the dorm.

A very clean dorm - almost like a hotel. The rooms are a decent size (ie. not that big), but everything else makes up for that. I believe it's the newest building on campus, so everything is up-to-date in terms of technology. Unlike the other dorms, the heating/cooling is controlled by the aircon rather than the noisy older heaters in the other dorms. Most other dorms also do not have AC - you would have to bring your own fan for that. So, if you want to live on campus, I definitely recommend Cutter (or its counterpart, Ziskind).
