Glen Tower B Dorm Reviews at Towson University

I made a lot of friends in Tower B. I spent hours at the front desk, hanging out with students workers and inviting other students to join in on our conversations. It felt like a community and I looked forward to coming back to my dorm after class. There were issues with mice and at times the higher up staff, who weren't student workers, could be a bit rude. Overall, I miss the times that I had in Tower B.

Living in Tower b was a fun experience. It is a nice space in a convenient location (close to classes on campus). Also, Glen Dining is just outside the dorms, about a 3-minute walk! the building staff are also very friendly and the floors and common areas are always kept very neat and clean.

Great central location to everything on campus- the gym, academic buildings, and several dining locations. It is a very easy walk to just about everywhere on campus. The Towers are high rise buildings that house many students, so it is easy to meet new people.

Tower B is the perfect location for students planning to live on campus. It is clean and quiet and in the middle of campus with easy access to dining locations, the Center for the Fine Arts, and all academic buildings.

Very nice, not too small for two people(pre-covid). The AC/heater works very well. The same goes for the hot/cold in the shower, although it does not get super hot. There was nothing broken when I came in, although the curtains are very stained and did not seem to be very clean. But it did include a mini-fridge and microwave so I did not have to spend extra money on having each. Overall I really like it, it is a perfect freshmen dorm.

Bathrooms aren't communal so at the most you'll share with your suitmates (3 other people.) There are two rooms with a bathroom in the middle. But since Towson isn't at full capacity because of covid you'll only have one person to share if there's someone placed next door.

Very close walk to classes. It Is quiet and staffs and securities are very friendly. I never had to worry about anybody breaking in the building because the lounge always had someone on duty. Everyone in the building were very friendly and compassionate.

My experience was that this tower was overpriced for what it was! The location is great, the view was great. BUT it was very dirty and cold. Lots of mold too. I was constantly sick when I had a dorm here.

Glen Towers was a great experience I got to meet new people and I got to experience a real dorm life sharing a bathroom with 5 people was a mess but I still enjoyed it every second. I would recommend it for freshman who are finding a place to stay.!

Despite that my stay was during COVID-19 Lockdown I still enjoyed every moment. I enjoyed meeting new people and experiencing what it is like to be on my own without my parent's opinion. I didn't have a roommate but my suitemate was the best. We went out to eat together and had good conversations about how we loved the freedom. My room was great, I had a lot of space and could control the AC. It was always nice and quiet so I never had a problem when I was studying or watching Netflix. I also had an amazing view of the soccer field when I opened my window. Even though I didn't get to have the typical freshman experience, the one I had was still very memorable and I can't wait to go back during the spring 2021 semester.

The Glen Tower Complex is in the middle ground of all the residence buildings in Towson. I appreciate that the rooms are large in comparison to the other residence buildings like Paca and Tubman & Barton and Douglass which are in the highest class. The food there is serviceable despite the common complaint that it's mediocre.

I felt safe because the staff would not let anyone past the front desk without a student ID and if someone got past them they could not open any doors or elevators without their ID. Guests could not come in without their ID either.

I enjoyed the Glen Towers very much. Very clean and updated. I loved having my own bathroom! I felt very safe since you could not get past the front desk without your school ID and if you did you could not get in the elevator or past the doors.
