Honors Complex Dorm Reviews at Akron

It's going well so far. The Honors Complex has 2 RA's per floor and only has shared single rooms and shared double rooms. It's very clean and a positive environment. There are social and study common rooms on every floor.

It was great! I met a lot of people and made friends by using the common areas. As someone on hall gov, the Honors Complex's common areas made it really easy to hold big events and gather a large group of people from different residence halls.

Only lived here for one semester but it was a great experience. The facilities are very nice as are the staff and other students. Had to call maintenance on the first day I was there over a leaky sink but they were there and had it fixed in a very timely manner. The only downside was noisy upstairs neighbors.

So far my experience at the Honors Complex has been very positive. I have a good amount of space in my room, I have my own bathroom, it is mostly quiet, it is close to all of my classes. The longest I have to walk to get to any of my classes is about 7 minutes. The union and rec are fairly close by as well. There is really nothing to complain about.

I absolutely loved staying at the Honors complex for my freshman year!! It’s in a central location on campus where it’s close enough to everything. I loved that we had our own bathroom which proved quite the luxury especially compared to other dorm complexes. There were ample study spots/ hangout areas if you needed to get out of your dorm and there was a great environment created within the people living on your floor. My floor was mostly all freshman looking forward to meeting new people at their new college so it creates a great space for getting acclimated to a completely new place.

The best part about the place is that each room has its own bathroom. People there are great, though the floors can be hit or miss. I lived on the third floor both years, and it was great. I didn't hear a lot of good things about the second floor, though.
