Honors Complex

It's going well so far. The Honors Complex has 2 RA's per floor and only has shared single rooms and shared double rooms. It's very clean and a positive environment. There are social and study common rooms on every floor. more

Spicer Hall

My room itself is good, I have a shared single and its been great. However, the floor I live on has a bunch of screaming students at all hours of the day. I think it has something to do with the fact that Spicer has a lot of athletes, so they are all friends and talk really loudly and scream in the hallway. more

It was a normal college dorm experience. The bathrooms definitely needed cleaning a lot more than they did and the hot water was not working for a while. The building is overall just outdated like the rest of campus. more

It was a great first experience but it always smelled like McDonalds when I opened my window. The only time this was an issue was when I was hungry because I then found myself walking to McDonalds. This probably why I had money leftover in my dining dollars at the end of last school year. more

Orr

I actually love where Orr is located it is right in the middle of campus and right next to the campuses dining hall. Its never super loud there and the RA for my floor is very nice. The only downfall I don't like is the community bathrooms and showers but of course its doable. Also this is he cheapest residence hall on the main campus. more

Exchange Singles

By far the best dorm! Great location, much better than the Quaker dorm I was in before. Exchange dorms have steak and shake, and starbuck, as well as Zees located under which was very helpful. RA’s were super helpful and understanding of being in college but still having a social life. Would recommend this dorm to every upcoming freshman wether it’s the single-shared or apartments! more

Exchange Apartment

The exchange apartments are pretty good. They look nice and even though you have about 4 roommates it’s still very easy to keep clean. I also love having my own kitchen instead of a meal plan because meal plans are expensive and I enjoy cooking. Also having a kitchen means I can eat healthier than when I live in other dorms. The study rooms are also amazing because they have big whiteboards to use to study and a nice view. more

Sisler-McFawn Residence Hall

My experience as a freshman in this dorm was one I will never forget. In this dorm everyone had a single room, meaning no roommates. It was great. Everyone was extremely friendly and the girls on my floor were ones that I will be friends with forever. I loved this dorm so much that I accepted a position within the University to stay in this dorm again next year to help the freshman acclimate to the adventure that is college. Our hall even won the Hall of the Year award for hall governments which I was Vice President of. Overall an experience I will never forget and one that has changed my life in so many positive ways! more

Bulger

Bulger Hall gave me my most fondest memories of college yet! I loved never having to clean the bathroom or taking down the trash. The rooms were a quad style and so spacious. The only thing that stunk was the air conditioning being the last one to be turned on. Bulger had great floor activities and the best RAs on campus. Living there in 2018-2019 was so much fun. more

Spicer

I lived in Spicer for my freshman year at UA. It was one of the best places I have ever lived, with plenty of space and cleanliness. The RAs were all wonderful and helpful if you needed anything. They used to do so many fun activities throughout the year which helped when you just needed a break from studying. more

Sisler-McFawn

I have lived in Sisler McFawn for 2 years now, and just like every building it has its issues, but maintenance does their best to keep up with the oldest residence hall on campus. Even with it being the oldest, it is still one of the best residence halls on campus. The bathrooms are nice and large, the rooms are a perfect size and they are all single rooms. It's a great place to live and I would recommend it to anyone! more

Bulger Hall and Spicer Hall

Bulger Hall was in the center of campus which made it easy to get to classes on time. Spicer Hall was a little farther from my classes, so I did have to leave a little early to make sure I got to class on time. I made great friends living in these two dorms my freshman and sophomore year. more
