Cuarto Residence Halls Dorm Reviews at UC Davis

This state-of-the-art dormitory was absolutely amazing in every aspect! From the moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by the immaculate cleanliness and the modern design. It felt like stepping into a luxurious hotel rather than a typical college dorm. The entire building was well-maintained, and there was a fresh, inviting atmosphere throughout. The dorm's newness was evident in every corner. The sleek architecture, contemporary furnishings, and the latest technology made it stand out among other student housing options. The common areas were spacious and tastefully decorated, creating the perfect environment for socializing and building a strong sense of community among residents. Each dorm room was designed with comfort and convenience in mind. The beds were cozy, and the study areas were ergonomically designed to promote productivity. Ample storage space allowed for easy organization of personal belongings, making the room feel even more spacious and clutter-free. The amenities provided were beyond what I had ever expected. The dorm had a state-of-the-art fitness center equipped with top-notch exercise machines, encouraging residents to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, there were inviting lounges with comfortable seating, perfect for relaxation or group study sessions. The common kitchen areas were well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and share cooking experiences with friends. What made this dorm truly exceptional was the attention to detail in every aspect of student life. From high-speed Wi-Fi to the easily accessible laundry facilities, everything was designed to enhance the overall living experience. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist, creating a warm and welcoming environment for all residents.

Living in Cuatro was really nice because you are right across from Trader Joe's. Their dining hall does have the best food, but it does have some drawbacks. Living in this hall means you have a longer bike ride or walk to class and the gym. It is nice having a bathroom and only having to share with one roommate or a few others.

Living in Cuarto was so much fun! My room mates and I were first pretty upset to be placed in cuarto because we had heard that it was technically “off campus”, which it sort of is. It’s about a 10 minute walk or a 5 minute bike ride to campus, and there’s a cute little path that leads you directly to the Segundo dining hall. There’s also around 3 different UniTrans stops all right outside the residence hall, so transportation was never an issue like we thought it would be! We ended up loving cuarto because of the personal bathrooms that you get in your room that you share with another suite, rather than one bathroom for a floor like the other two residence halls. Not only were out suitemates super cool, all of our RA’s were as well. While the way that cuarto is set up is a bit different than the other residence halls, I think the experience you get there is so unique that it makes everything worth the while!

It was very close to the U-Mall and Trader Joe’s. It was very quiet and and reserved. Everyone there was to themselves. The management and cleaning in quarto responded very quickly to issues when reported.
