While Cuarto was on the quieter side, it was the farthest dorm on campus. The dining common was a bit smaller than the other two, Tercero and Segundo, but offered ice cream. The staff was friendly and would clean the bathrooms once a week. The dorm rooms are each 3 beds, and you share a bathroom either with another room or two other rooms. This bathroom is the entrance, and you must go through it in order to get to your room. ID cards are your keys, and you must swipe to get into your room, get food at the dining commons, and receive packages from the mail room. There is a market with ice cream, ramen, snacks, drinks, microwave meals, and some baked goods, as well as supplies. There is one large lounge on each floor (4 or 5 floors depending on which Hall and Building. I lived in Shasta) and 4 smaller lounges, one that does not have a door. Many individuals either hung out or studied in these rooms, but they quickly fill up around midterms and finals. Cuarto is a bit less social compared to the other dorms, but the RAs (2 on each floor) host voluntary events for socialization and to teach you things from finance to wellness.
