It's probably the most active building given that it's the biggest building so this cause it to be hard to find and open space but it usually very clean thanks to the staff. The placement of the building is also nice because of proximity to the classes and it being in front of the bigger dinging hall more

Granite Pass Hall

The dorm is quite nice and new. The size is very small but the location is very good as it is close to the dining hall and the entrance to the school. I also enjoyed the view from outside my window. Overall, it is good but I would warn about pranksters setting off fire alarms at night. more

It’s a very beautiful place to live! You share a room with 2 other people and share a bathroom with another room who has 3 people. 6 people in total for a bathroom which is really big and nice. The dorms each have a sink which helps with cleanliness more

Sierra Terraces - Tuolumne

Overall, I had a good experience living in Tuolumne. My only complaint is that the walls were very thin, so if my neighbors had friends over, I could hear them talking as if they were in my room. Otherwise, I enjoyed having a private bathroom that I only had to share with a few people, and I felt like the staff did a very good job of keeping the building clean. more

Pleasant and very calming, great study space and great isolation from the businesses of campus. Marketplace and bus stop within close proximity. Easy access to the neighboring buildings as well as walking to Lake Yosemite more

Kings Valley

Living in Kings Valley in the Valley Terraces was a good experience. We had a lot of privacy but the residents of the place were in charge of cleaning the dorm. This was non beneficial at times because some residents would not clean the restroom or common areas. To add, another thing that I did not like about the the dorm was that the walls were so thin. I could hear everyone at all times. more

Merced Hall

Cathedral & Tenaya

I would say Cathedral was an overall good , but kinda bad experience due to the fact that the AC broke down once it was hot and took a while for it to get fixed. The halls were quiet and peaceful though. more

Tenaya

I lived in Tenaya during COVID. It was interesting not being able to interact with my Hallmate’s without getting in trouble. It was one person per room which although made things spacious it was also very lonely. Nonetheless it is the worst building at the school but the oldest as well. more
