My time in Rutherford was very special as a college freshman. I made many friends and great memories; however, the cleanliness of this building was a huge problem. The building itself was super old and the floors were creaky. There were stains on the floor and the bathroom didn’t even have a window for ventilation. In addition to that, the bathrooms were always dirty and had mold in the grommets of the shower tiles. There were no common areas in this building either, as they got turned into large triples on all three floors, so there was nowhere for us to hang out as a dorm. Overall, the building was very quiet and respectful, so that’s an upside but that can change every year depending on what students live there. The creaky floors are inescapable though. I lived in Rutherford back in the 2017-2018 school year so maybe things are better now!
