Reed Hall Dorm Reviews at UGA

I love Reed Hall! I have never met a more friendly cleaning crew and staff. We have plenty of study areas and lounges. Reed Hall is quiet which is perfect for studying. It is located right by the stadium which is great for game days and for college freshman like me who have lots of classes and activities in the Tate Center and MLC. The rooms have a lot of space and the bathrooms are also very spacious and clean. The bathrooms get cleaned once a week which is such a nice perk to living in Reed. The only thing that I wish there was more of is laundry washers and dryers but usually I'm always able to find an open washer to do a load, it just might take a bit longer. Overall, I have loved my time in Reed so far and am even thinking about applying to be an RA.

I had The BEST Residence Hall Director. She stood up for us and made Reed Hall feel like a home away from home. I loved that I was able to walk easily from class to class and back to my dorm, since it was located in the middle of campus and right underneath the stadium. We planned activities on the quad and served food and Halloween bashes in the common areas. The staff were like family to me and really took their jobs seriously. They kept Reed Hall clean and well looked after. I would highly recommend living at Reed Hall if attending UGA

It's definitely a freshman dorm but good for people who have difficult majors and need quiet. The dorm is decidedly clean however it's outdated. Definitely would pick this dorm out of all the other ones.

Reed Hall is likely the best freshman dorm at Springfield College. The students that live in this building tend to be more academic-focused, which contributed to the lower noise level that is commonplace in this building. If you prioritize your sleep and your academics, this is the hall for you!

Reed Hall is in a great location and is definitely suited for anyone who wants a more quiet campus living experience. The staff is always really nice and will help out when they can. Everything about this dorm is pretty great, just keep in mind that the showers are pretty small and you share with the room next door.

Reed hall is a good if you prefer to live in a quieter space and have less interactions with other people. The rooms are a good size and there are plenty of study areas. Two rooms share a conjoined bathroom, but you cannot lock the bathroom door from inside the room. The kitchens are ok, but the stoves are dated and don't have a timer or thermometer. A lot of buildings on campus are under a ten minute walk and there is a bus stop about a minute away that will take you all around campus. Overall I would say that people would enjoy living here.
