Russell Hall Dorm Reviews at UGA

Russell Hall has been a very social dorm! I really like the convenient location, providing easy access to academic buildings, dining halls, and campus facilities. Its close proximity to the UGA quad and various amenities makes it a popular choice for first-year students like me. Russell Hall also features basic but modern amenities, including laundry facilities, study rooms, and Wi-Fi, which fosters a comfortable yet productive environement for its residents.

Everyone was so social and the staff and RA’s made it clean and welcoming! The bathrooms were so clean and the study rooms were always kept quiet and perfect for late night studying, homework, and even had closed-off classrooms for more privacy and/or study groups to discuss without bothering others!

Russel Hall shows a nice and friendly environment with many people enjoying the atmosphere. It's location is very nice and the inside is even better. It not only has a social environment where people can hang out, but also a quiet one where people can study.

Russell Hall is my home away from home. It is very safe with a friendly and pleasing atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help out when needed. It is newly renovated with lots of cool features such as a large study lounge, private study rooms, and a market with snacks and emergency items. It is the best dorm on campus, and it is where I found my life-long best friends.

The RAs are very nice and understanding. They also host special events on a weekly basis and decorate the halls and give out candy on holidays. They work really hard to make Russell hall feel like home. The rooms have just been renovated so they are really nice as well. However when you first walk into the dorm, they may seem surprisingly small, but you will get used to this after a week or so and if you rearrange the furniture and bring a futon, then it will feel very comfortable and cozy. Also recommend bringing led lights to set a certain vibe. Bathrooms are cleaned multiple times a day and they are spacious and each shower and toilet have their own full door, so you are guaranteed privacy.

I loved Russell! I had such a good experience there, and it definitely helped shape my freshman year at UGA. The bathrooms had great shower areas and were well-kempt. The rooms were small but still nice and my only complaint about the whole place is the SLOW elevators.

Russell Hall is a wonderful dorm for freshman! It is a great way to make friends while also being one of the nicest dorms UGA has. Russell hall bathrooms are clean and are a lot more modern compare to other dorms.

Russell hall is a great first year experience for new students to experience. The community style residence hall lets you meet more people and especially with COVID right now, it has been hard, but easier with the community style to make new friends

Russel is a great place. Many people in the dorm building know each other and form a family type environment. The staff makes sure the building in well taken care of. We also have games and things to keep us occupied while in the building.

Russell Hall is a freshman only dorm at UGA. It was recently renovated and the communal bathrooms are actually very nice! The stalls have floor to ceiling doors, and the dorms are a pretty good size. Each room also comes with a mini-fridge and microwave. Russell is near a lot of the other freshman only dorms, but it is on a pretty steep hill and about a 5-10 minute walk to central campus.
