About a month into the year and Shafer is a nice dorm to live in. I'm in a double and my room is small, but it has a cozy feel. The building is old and my room has a painted over old-fashioned radiator that takes up a lot of space, but I'd say that would probably be the only downside of the room. Building overall is nice, common rooms, bathrooms, and hallways all feel clean and comfortable, elevator is slow sometimes, but location is good and feels close to several major buildings on campus. Having Pom dining hall would be nice but Lulu is close too.
