Holden Hall Dorm Reviews at Wooster

Holden is an interesting building. As the oldest dorm on campus, it definitely looks the part. It is run down, smelly, and cracks in the wall indicate its age. However, it is located in a perfect place, making walking to class easy especially in the winter months.

Holden lives up to it's reputation as the roach building, which is why I gave a lower score for cleanliness. Other than one horrible roach experience which required the resident exterminator, Holden is a fine place to live and not indicative of the rest of Wooster housing.

It is overall good. While there are bats, cockroaches, and the bathrooms are not always the best (depending on the number of men in your designated hallway), it is a great place to meet sophomores and juniors.

The location was great. Most of the messiness comes from people not cleaning up after themselves and not taking the trash out often enough. The bathrooms vary--some are fine, some are gross. The custodians are great and I've never had any issues with RAs.
