st. Katharine Drexel Residential Hall Dorm Reviews at Xavier

The dormitory experience provided me with the ability to meet new people. Living in the dormitory was overall a great experience. The dorms were well maintained, and the staff was exceptional. Any issues. that came about were handled accordingly and in a timely manner. The staff would also have events for the residents in the dorm, which was always great as well!

While living in St. Katherine Residence Hall I believe I got the real college experience. It was an all-girls dormitory. The rooms were average sizes, the bathroom was communal and our gathering rooms weren't the best. I'd rate my experience a 6/10.

In my personal experience, I did not like living at the St. Katherine Drexel Residential Hall due to the noise and the lack of cleanliness. Every other day, there were at least 1-2 cops on my floor due to fighting complaints. The only pro about living here is that this particular hall is in the middle of the campus, which makes it easier for first time freshman to navigate around.

KD is a freshman dorm so I didn't expect it to be the best in the world. My main problem with it is the staff that wok here. Most of them are fine but there are those few who are very rude. Mainly the cleaning ladies. There's one who is constantly loud all day on the phone(yes even in the mornings) and doesn't ever actually clean the bathrooms. Maybe it's just her because I've seen some of the other ones clean the bathroom much better. Hopefully the feedback I and many others living on my floor have given is taken seriously. Also depending on which floor you live on, the rooms can be freezing and there's no thermostat for your specific room(not all floors have this but some do).

I love it here. The area is nice. All of the staff is very nice and helpful. Our RA's do a great job with keeping in touch with everyone on the floor. Anytime I am going through a tough time I know I can contact my RA for guidance.
