Baldwin Hall

Very loud and not monitored at all. The RA's seem to not care what goes on. It is not a bad place to live just be ready for the noise and if something happens do not expect a lot of help. It is located right in the middle of campus and if you happen to get a good hall it would be a great place to live. Just be cautious when you move in. more

Crawford Hall

Everyone is super friendly, its a safe area and comfortable to live in! The only possible downside is that some of the dorms are kind of small. My roommate and I found a way to make it work though. Just something to keep in mind if your one of those people that require a decent amount of free space ! more

SummerBrooke has awesome amenities like a pool, tennis courts, and even a dog park. It is also not too noisy in the area, just the occasional sound of the train passing by. Maintenance also usually comes pretty quickly when there's a problem so it's nice knowing that there will always be someone to fix stuff when you need it. more

Brooks Hall

Due to its connection with Walker Hall, Brooks frequently has students walking around at all times of day. This is partially why the volume level leaves something to be desired. However, overall Brooks Hall is amazing. The maintenance staff are friendly and very efficient at keeping the area clean and well managed. The bathrooms were recently renovated to allow for private shower/bathroom stalls. This renovation has allowed Brooks Hall to shine as one of the best resident halls on campus. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with living in Brooks. Not to mention that it is connected to the largest dining hall. more

Schultz Hall

Living here for the first few weeks have been fun! People are very nice and the halls are very quiet. The only downsides is that to go to the laundry room, I have to walk past the boys hall and walk down four flights of stairs and compared to the campus, everything is relatively far (5-10 minutes max). more

Walker Hall

It was fun and quiet to be living in Walker Hall. However, there were many times the common room as well as the bathrooms would just be disgusting and that is completely on the students, not even the staff. The building also doesn't really have hot water unless you go down the hall to the neighboring building. Those things would only be the reasons I would deter people from Walker. Otherwise, it's truly a pretty place to live in and the rooms are actually quite spacious. more

I’m going to be a sophomore at WCU and lived in Allegheny Hall for my freshman year. My roommate and I had a suite with our own bathroom. We were responsible for its cleanliness. The dorm is beautiful, well kept and very comfortable. more

I have loved my time at Eagles West so far and have already renewed my lease for the next academic year. In relation to my last apartment in Auburn Eagles West is much more relaxed, quiet, and I overall feel safer especially living alone. It is so close to campus it takes me five minutes to walk and I love being able to park right in front of my apartment building versus in a parking garage like many of the other complexes in the area. The maintenance has been one of the things that I have been most impressed with, there has not been a time when I have put in a request and someone has not been there to fix it within 24 hours, it is so so fast and the staff is very nice and helpful. I could not recommend Eagles West enough and am excited to spend the rest of my college career living there. more
