Newberry Hall Dorm Reviews at Alma

Lived on first floor newberry, loud broken doors, busy dorm, bathrooms don’t get cleaned on the weekends. Location is great for food and classes and the common areas are overall clean and up to date. No AC but fans blasting helps.

I had a great experience in Newberry Hall at Alma College. The maintenance staff always made sure the bathrooms, hallways, and common areas were clean. If there was ever a problem with our furniture the maintenance staff would fix it right away. Lastly, I always enjoyed the time I spent with my neighbors in the common area!

The dorm hall is very quiet, nobody is ever out in the hallways—it could also be because of covid though. Certain rooms are assigned to a certain private public restroom that is always clean, it just runs out of paper towel at times. The dorm rooms are also a very good size.

Living in newberry was a great experience the staff were very nice. They were also very helpful. The laundry room was great to have it saves you a lots of money in the long run. Because it is free and you should definitely take advantage.

Its in the middle of campus and very good tp be able to go to eat or go to class. I would also say that once you get used to living in newberry and settled in you will see why it is one of the best dorms on campus to be honest.
