Boyd Dorm Reviews at Auburn

Boyd hall is pretty decent. The dorms are kind of small, but they are big enough for two people to live in. It's located somewhat near the middle of campus, so everything is about a 5-15 minute walk depending on where you want to go to. People are pretty friendly if you talk to them, and the RA's keep everyone updated on events going on in the hall and let you know about events going on around campus, and keep you updated on weather reports.

Living in Boyd has had its ups and downs. Overall, it's a great place to live because of its location in relation to Terrell and it's in a quiet part of campus. People on my floor were loud at late hours which was only addressed a few times. The room was clean when I arrived and there were never any bugs. All the facilities in the bathroom worked and although it's old, it was still clean. Maintenance was pleasant to work with as well. The RAs were very good about providing us with activities to bond with the rest of the hall, of course taking covid precautions. Overall, I've had a pleasant experience staying here.

Boyd is kept up very well. The staff come in and clean consistently and the lobby is always presentable. The RA's are really nice. They create a fun environment and provide helpful resources. Highly recommended!!
