Plimpton Hall Dorm Reviews at Barnard

Plimpton Hall is one of the nicer looking dorms in comparison to the other suite dorms. I love my suite and it feels much more homier and spacious than my previous dorm at 616. The walk to campus takes about 15 minutes but the walk is good exercise.

Plimpton is a great, quiet dorm to live in, but it can be a little far away from the train station, which was frustrating on late nights out or on cold days. I loved the space of the dorm, but there were slight issues with cleanliness. We had an issue with a mouse getting into the dorm, but I think that's just an issue that happens often in New York.

The front dest staff at Plimpton are the absolute best. They are by far the most relaxed and friendliest guards at Barnard. Additionally, the super, who I believe is the only female super in a Barnard Dorm, is amazing. She is fast, helpful, and friendly, which is nice when you're living on you own for the first time.
