College in the Woods is an excellent dorm for Binghamton University for several compelling reasons. Firstly, its location amid nature provides a serene and peaceful atmosphere, fostering a conducive environment for studying and relaxation. The lush green surroundings offer a refreshing escape from the bustling campus, allowing students to recharge and focus on their academics. Additionally, the close-knit community in College in the Woods encourages strong social connections, facilitating lasting friendships and a sense of belonging.

I actually really liked my experience at College In The Woods. There were occasional messes in the trash room and the laundry room was always busy. However, that had nothing to do with the staff it was just the students living there. I 100% recommend Mohawk, it's location on campus is ideal.

CIW is a calm and quiet place to dorm with ample learning community opportunities that make making friends easy. It is located in the middle of campus within a good distance of the other dorm buildings and dining halls.

I’m a sophomore at Binghamton University. I have lived in College in the Woods for 2 years now in Onondaga Hall. I have been able to meet so many new people and become friends. This year I became the president for my building and it has been a great experience. College in the Woods also usually has many different events like Woods Olympics and Casino in the Woods. Overall, I love living in College in the Woods.

The College In The Wood community has pros and cons to living there, however, overall it is not the best living situation on campus due to its location and being very outdated. Other than that it is a very welcoming community to be a part of and the resident assistants are very friendly and helpful.

My experience so far at College In The Woods has been exquisite. Even through the pandemic, the residential assistants and staff offer activities that lift the spirit of the community through these difficult times.

Living in Mohawk hall in college in the woods is better than the other four buildings in the community. Mohawk has bigger suites with two bathrooms, and a much better location than the other buildings

Most dorms are newly renovated. College In The Woods is a friendly laid back environment. Met great people and lifelong friends there. In my opinion it is underrated. Most RAs are chill and there is a great sense of community.

CIW is a solid dorm to live in. It is the cheapest along with Hinman but nicer. Dorm and common room sizes are randomly different which is annoying. Bathrooms are pretty solid especially compared to Hinman.

I absolutely loved living in Mohawk during my first year of college at Binghamton. Like most college students, I was nervous about my roommate, my dorm room, and how my living situation would be overall. However, I can say that I truly am so happy with how living in Mohawk went in the 2019-2020 academic year. Even though my time got cut short because of COVID-19, there was definitely a full year's worth of memories made in my 6-person sweet. My roommate is still one of my closest friends this year, and my suitemate from last year is my current roommate as well. I was so lucky to be roomed in Mohawk with some of my closest friends, and I would not trade my experience for the world.
