Dehority

I do think that Dehority is great, but the only downside is the actual dorms are small in comparison to the non-honors dorms. It is in a great location, with a dining hall directly across from it and a 5-10 minute walking distance from most buildings. more

Woodworth Complex

I've only been in the dorms for a short amount of time, I will say it has been an experience but a great one, I've really enjoyed getting to know people that not only live around me but have similar major. I've found the building itself really resourceful to nursing students it's just really nice. more

Thomas J. Kinghorn Hall

I lived at Kinghorn during my last two years at Ball State and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a single room, so I had my own bedroom and shared the bathroom with one neighbor. The dorm was very quiet, which as an upperclassmen was very important to me. The small dining hall there is a nice, quick place. I just wish it was closer to my classes. more

Schmidt/Wilson

Schmidt/Wilson is a very nice dorm. They have friendly staff from the people at the desk to the cleaners for the bathrooms/kitchenettes. There was an issue with the lock on my door and they had it fixed by the next day. If anything, the only reason the dorms are loud or dirty are because of the people on your floor, who you cannot control. Though, you can report them to your RA. more

Noyer Complex: Howick/Williams

I had a great time in Howick. I lived there for about two years and was sad when I couldn't sign up to be in the same dorm this upcoming school year. The location is perfect, right across from the library and the rec center and all of my classes were within walking distance. more

Botsford/Swinford

I love Botsford/Swinford hall. The community is great, and I have had no problems in the dorms. It is unfortunate that it is one of the farthest dorms from the main college buildings, but with the bus transportation it is not that bad. more

I had a really great experience at Studebaker East! The common areas on the odd-numbered floors were awesome and I liked how the bathrooms were set up. I wish there had been more of a community with the girls living around me, but the actual living accommodations themselves were great! more

Baker/Klipple - Noyer Complex

My experience at Baker/Kipple has been good.The staff is nice and they always be sure to keep everything clean and neat.They also go out the way to come by your bathroom and clean 1 a week.Also there not much to much noise. more

I moved here in the spring semester and it has honestly been great. I have an amazing roomate, the staff is amazing. I personally don't like the bathroom, they're communal bathrooms so I guess I can say who honestly would. If to rate on a 10 scale its a 7.5 more

So far it's been a great experience! Overall the staff is very friendly, and the janitorial staff is nice and very efficient. I feel safe in the dorms because you have to scan your I.D Card to get into the dorms. more

So far everything is well. With the covid, there are safety rules set up to keep students safe.Getting to classes are smooth, as well as going to eat. I am still able to go study with friends and be able to talk to close friends that I went to high school with. more

Woodworth Commons

Woodward is the only building at Ball State that doesn't have air and we sweat to death. Otherwise its just a plain concrete room. Otherwise the other dorms are nice and air condition. the people are great the bathrooms are ok. stalls are lined up. Other dorms have single restrooms and showers. more

The RA's are incredible however have fear of some of the residents and are scared to punish them. Close to a dining hall but quite literally the furthest from everything else other than other resident halls. Would be so much better if it wasn't for its location. Go to Woodworth or Park because it's so much closer to everything. more

Elliott Hall

I am currently living in Elliot Hall at Ball State University. I am very serious about my studies and have found that this is a great dorm to keep myself on track and focused due to how quiet and maintained this dorm is. The student center is located right across from the dorm which includes a dining hall and many student help services are located in that building as well. The only down side to Elliot Hall is the location, sicne it is traditionally a junior and senior dorm it is further from the center of campus and closer to the village. Overall the staff and enviornment of Elliot Hall is great. more
