Irvington House Dorm Reviews at Butler

Irvington was a great first-year dorm! The facilities are new and nice, and have plenty of study spaces and fun common areas. The walls seemed thin, like we could hear our neighbors and people in the hallway even if they weren't loud. Overall a really great experience though!

I think Irvington is definitely one of the nicest freshman dorms you'll live in. It is built like an ikea show room, my cabinet drawer broke a few times but maintenance was always there to fix it. the closets are 6 feet wide so there is plenty room for clothes, along with the under drawers provided. The room are also huge and no like a normal freshman dorm, everything is very modern.

Irvington House was conveniently located on campus and close to all of my classes. Being a newer building, it felt clean and safe and the common areas were great. Unfortunately, my dormitory experience was cut short in the Spring of 2020 due to COVID-19.

Absolutely love this dorm! The suite style rooms are perfect and no community bathroom is always a plus! There is also a fitness room and game room on the first floor of Irvington that are perfect places to hang out and make sure you're staying in shape to avoid gaining that freshman 15 :)

Irvington is like a hotel. The dorm itself is made up of single, double and triple suites where each suite has its own bathroom. In addition, each student living there gets their own 6 foot wide closet, their own sink and medicine cabinet in the bathroom and there's even a half wall that provides privacy between roommates. The dorm also includes a huge chef's kitchen with lounge attached to it, laundry on each floor, a gym, game room, multiple study rooms, and a large lounge on each floor of the dorm. The dorm was recently built in 2019, so all features are modern and up to date.

Great living experience, lots of space compared to many other college dorms. The bathrooms are nice and spacious as well. Lots of mirrors as well as closet space. There are times when other students are noisy but not often
