Briscoe Hall Dorm Reviews at BVU

Briscoe Hall has been an experience. It’s nice to have a common lounge to watch tv and hang out that isn’t in the bedroom. The location sometimes stinks when you need to walk out in the winter cold for breakfast. But it’s nice to be near other friends.

The staff that comes over to clean the common area (the halls) are super friendly. They do their best to rid of the bugs we get though they always end up coming back. The suites have a lounge of there own and the school provides a couch or two for them. They are basically living room that you and your suitemates are responsible for cleaning up. Each room has its own bathroom. They give students trash bags and toilet paper every few weeks. There are sometimes parties which can be upsetting to deal with as the walls are not the thickest. For the most part I feel safe but there is the occasional event I hear outside at midnight in the back. Otherwise the RA's are super kind and chill usually so if you need to talk to them it shouldn't be an issue.
