Wyview Park

Wyview Park is an older-style dorm with tan-colored walls and multi-colored brown carpet. It isn't the most appealing nor the most spacious, however, if you are a college student that seeks something more mature than the Freshman at Heritage or Helaman, then it is great. The people make it all worth it. more

The Riviera Apartments

its about a 10 minute walk to campus but its a great spot thats super close to the stadium which is awesome for games. It also is pretty quiet. If you are a big partyer its probly not the place for you. more

Stover Hall

Stover Hall is a great place to meet fun and lifelong friends! It is a very welcoming atmosphere with endless social opportunities. Be warned, though, it is rarely quiet. The RAs are kind and the vending machines are where it’s at! more

Heritage Halls Building 6

I absolutely loved and still love my experience in Heritage Halls Building 6. Everything is clean and well-kept, and the building is the closest housing to the common areas of campus! It's very near the Wilkerson Student Center and Music Building, and everything else is not far off. I absolutely recommend! It's very spacious, great working appliances (dishwasher, fridge/freezer, air conditioning, toilets, sinks, showers, sink disposals), and there are eight washers and dryers for use in the basement! more

Budge Hall

My time at Budge Hall was interesting. Impossible to study in because of how loud and obnoxious my neighbors were, but very fun and lively atmosphere. RAs were strict about certain things and lax about others more

Helaman Halls

It was a pretty average Helaman Halls experience. Because it was a women's dorm I found that it was pretty generally kept clean. My hall happened to get along really well, but I know there was drama in other halls. It was definitely hard to not have a kitchen, and the one kitchenette in the basement was out of order like 75% of the time, so don't count on that! Also know that the Cannon Center (cafeteria) is on a two week food rotation, so by the end of the semester be prepared to get real creative about how you're going to mix up the food you are eating! more

C. Chipman Hall

Overall my experience at Chipman Hall was enjoyable. It is very old and could use some updating but has been maintained fairly well over the years. The staff was fairly helpful and maintaied a decently clean environment. I did not enjoy being in the common area due to the excess of PDA from couples that would linger there. more

So far Chipman has been great! It is quiet at night but very social during the day. I get along with all the girls in my Hall. Chipman is close to everything and so it is an easy walk to get anywhere. more

Great location but the cleaning checks are a little annoying. They don't really work with you if there's an issue with the cleaning checks. I ended up getting charged for what my roommates didn't clean more

Merrill Hall

I enjoyed it for the most part. It was clean and fun. The common areas were old and the seats weren't the best and it was shared among to many people in my opinion but overall a good experience. It was also located near lots of other building and centered around the cannon center which made it easy to meet people. There were also apple outdoor spaces nearby which was nice. more

It's a bit over-priced for what you're getting-- you have 5 other roommates(6 in total). Additionally, they tack on almost $100 in extra fees/utilities every month. Aside from that I loved it. The people are nice, and there's always something to do. more

Deseret Towers

I liked Deseret Towers at BYU. My hall advisor was kind. We had a great cafeteria with good food. I had a good roommate. You answer questions about preferences so they can pair you with a good roommate. The elevators sometimes had issues though because it was an old building. I believe this dorm is torn down now but I am sure whatever dorms have taken their place will be good ones. BYU does a good job helping their incoming freshmen. more
