Hitchcock is known to not be the best dorm. Its relatively close to Wyant, the gym, but other than that there's no big upside to living in Hitchcock, much less the Cedar-Mag community. The freshman dorms are pretty much the same but there are differences in cleanliness and layouts of the restrooms. So, if possible, go for dorms in the Juniper community.
