Compared to freshman and sophomore housing, and other universities, the Village is a great place to live. Lots of space, large individual bedrooms, full kitchens and personal common rooms, and accessible but safe locations and access. Maintenance is slow to respond and lots of appliances and furniture is old and in need of fixing, but such is college life. Everything is also relatively clean. I wish the washers and dryers were in better shape (and not constantly breaking) and that cleaning supplies (like vacuums) were made available to students. But other than that, I'm satisfied with my experience.
