Sandhu Residence Center Dorm Reviews at Chapman

It was a pleasant experience, but no social gathering. The building was more like a hotel atmosphere which makes it harder to get the know other students. No particular events to gather with other residents.

As a freshman in college, I did not know what to expect from a dormitory. Sandhu was a pretty standard dormitory, from what I've come to learn. There are certainly nicer dorms on campus, and many people would tell me that I got unlucky with my dorm assignment. This was not necessarily the case, though, as my room was large enough to live comfortably with a roommate. The biggest drawback was the bathrooms, which was the least enjoyable part of my experience due to the cramped arrangement and lack of space.

Sandhu is known as the nicest dorm on the Chapman U campus. Especially if you choose to live with 2 other roommates, Sandhu dorms give students a lot more personal space, along with a bigger bathroom and a small hallway. There are nice small study rooms, a movie theatre room and even a small dance studio with mirrors!

I lived in sandhu my Junior and Senior year of college at chapman. It was a great experience both years because of the close proximity to campus, access to the shuttles in the parking lot, it’s own parking lot, and the Caf is literally right below it.
