Hayman Hall Dorm Reviews at The College of Idaho

Hayman Hall is one of the nicer dorms at COI. I am fortunate to have a private room on the first floor. My room is right next to the RA. However, Hayman Hall is not well maintained. Bits of the ceiling fibers fall on me and my bed daily. The vents in the kitchen on the second floor are completely blocked w dust and dirt. The mens bathroom is very dirty. On move in my sign off sheet said the adhesive had been removed and that the room had been cleaned but it had not. It is loud at night so I put my headphones on if I need to sleep and am not with my friends. All of the dorms at COI are in rough shape. The mens bathroom is so dirty that I don't want to use it.

The RA's at Hayman Hall make me feel like I am safe at home. They always smile and say hello to me and my roommates when we walk past them. The other people living in the dorm are also incredibly friendly and inviting.

Over all I liked my time spent in Hayman. The only time I was disappointed in the cleanliness was over the break when most kids went home. I had to be there through December for basketball and because it was over the break and not very many people were there, they didn't keep the bathrooms that clean. That is my only complaint! Heating and cooling systems worked great.
