Alamitos Hall Dorm Reviews at Cal Poly Pomona

Alamitos was overall very good and I enjoyed the experience. It was kind of dirty in some areas and was pretty old but not as old as some of the other dorms. Also kind of outdated. However the staff was very nice and all the RA's were very nice and had fun activities.

I met some of my best friends in Alamitos! Dorming was definitely a fun experience. All my friends would leave their doors open and hop from room to room, hanging out with one another. There was a great sense of community. However, the building is extremely old. There is mold, cockroaches, and poor ventilation. People got sick often because of the poor quality of living.

Alamitos Hall was also fun to me because the common area always had people. People were nice and welcoming. theres a common kitchen and you would past by people who were studying in the study room or playing foosball or ping pong right outside. there werent that many stairs and many different entrances and exits which made it so convient when going to class or to eat.
