Beck Hall Dorm Reviews at CWU

No air conditioning nor building fans. It was very hot, you can smell the garbage on each floor and there was roaches in the laundry area. For a first year experience it was touch, hopefully my second year will be better in a different dorm.

Beck hall is located close to the SURC and was the closest bassetti to any of the classes, the community and culture inside the dorm was great. However, the dorm is old and outdated, the kitchen is also very small.

I stayed at Beck Hall my freshmen year at CWU. During spring and Summer the hall and rooms did get hot but in Winter and Fall the heater was perfect. The bathrooms are a good size and cleaned regularly. The kitchen is quite small and you have to time when to use it. The laundry rooms are good sizes and people generally got the clothes in time. It is right by the Rec and Food center so that was very nice. It is right by Barto's yard so when there are things happening you know right away.

Everything was pretty good, basically your standard experience with a dormitory. Some readiness but nothing too extreme. I had a really good time and the people were very respectful and the building was kept very clean. I would definitely recommend staying in Beck Hall to anyone
