Crowley Complex Dorm Reviews at DBU

Crowley is the female freshman dorms. The nickname people have for Crowley is the "Crusty Crowley." A downside to Crowley is the bathrooms in my hall are always having some sort of maintenance being done on them. In fact, as I'm writing this, the toilets on my hall are broken. The laundry room is also problematic sometimes. We only have 3 washers and 3 dryers so everyone has to take turns. A lot of the time, girls forget to take out their clothes, and people often have to move others clothing. Crowley is not the cleanest or prettiest dorm complex on campus, but it is the most convenient. Crowely is the only dorm complex attached to the cafeteria. As a Crowley student, I don't even have to go outside to get to the cafeteria. I simply have to walk down the stairs. Crowley is also the closest female dorm to the lecture halls. Crowley is crusty, but it is convenient. Honestly, I'm just happy I have a place to stay.

The Crowley Complex, was indeed an all girls dormitory. The cafe being built under the building is a real bonus until you’re hungry and the cafe closes 3 times a day, they are very big on security, one time I heard someone had snuck someone in the dorm and I remember seeing the police walk down the hallway. I would give this experience a 2/10

I have been living in Crowley since the middle of summer. The location is the best part. You have the dining hall right under you, chapel is on the other side of the park and all classes on top of the hill are within a 7 minute walk. Crowley is typical dorm life. It's a small room shared with one roommate. The community bathrooms are cleaned twice daily. The showers are a little crammed but they work and they get hot.

The bathrooms get clogged up sometimes but not too bad. I love my RA and the girls in my hall are great. The cafeteria is right under Crowley so we have easy access which is great. I also feel pretty secure since they have the doors locked and have staff at the front.

Crowley Complex was a good source of community! It looks a little run down, but it is a great dorm! I'm glad a chose Crowley for my freshman year of college. The common area is a fun place to hang out with friends and RAs.

It's so amazing, People are so nice and friendly at the complex. I have friends down the hall, around me and I care for them a lot. Also a plus the downstairs Cafe is off the chain! They serve very great meals and have very great service there. We have hall events every year and there fun. my RA aka. Residence assistant is super nice and believes in Jesus with everyone! I so love it here at Crowley.
