Myers Hall Dorm Reviews at Drexel

Living in Myers was the best experience I'd never want to do again. Although the building wasn't the fanciest, I met my best friends there, which I lived with the year after. By being surrounded within the learning communities, I was able to excel in my academics, while also meeting people within many different disciplines.

My experience at Myers Hall could be described as "expected". When living at Myers Hall, it meets your expectations of living in a college dorm. Loud hallways, students hanging out in the common areas, bathrooms are dirty (you're sharing it with at least 20 other girls/boys on your floor), and rooms are a standard size. Myers Hall is the oldest dorm building on Drexel's campus, which has not been renovated yet. It is definitely not modern, in any sense. The only enjoyable characteristic of Myers Hall is that it is the dorm building that houses learning communities. I was living with the Biomedical Engineering Learning Community. It was great to meet people who where studying the same major and be able to go to classes with them. We would study for exams together and do homework together, which is very helpful when academics can get stressful.
