Centennial Towers (South) Dorm Reviews at DU

IT WAS FUN BEING WITH ALL MY FRIENDS, ALTHOUGH IT WAS QUITE NOISY MOST NIGHTS BECAUSE OF THE CLOSE QUARTERS WITH SO MANY STUDENTS. ADDITIONALLY, THE PARKING WAS VERY NICE. THE AREAS WERE PRETTY CLEAN, ALTHOUGH WE DID NOT HAVE A COMMON SPACE ON MY FLOOR.

So much fun and great people who live on campus. The dorms were pretty clean for the most part and was near everything so it was all too bad of a walk. Definitely recommend living here, one of the best.

It's a little far from the rest of campus, but it's nice having a mostly private kitchen and bathroom. The rooms otherwise are nice and have a good amount of space. They also have the RA's do fun activities with people on the floor.

I am part of the Pioneer Leadership Program and being part of PLP,you get put with other PLP members on the same floor. Being a part of something like PLP, I feel especially in this time of COVID-19, helps to make me feel comfortable because I am surrounded by people who think and have the same motivation as me. I will say, however, that being on the same floor as other PLP, makes our floor a little noisy and I don't mind the noise, but when I am trying to sleep, it is not wanted. In addition, my RA and other staff members are fabulous, they have a way to make you feel connected and have a belonging. For the location, it is the farthest from most buildings on campus which can be annoying, but the pros about our dorm are you get a kitchen and bathroom to share with another room (it is like a Jack and Jill setup). For me, being far from everything is something I have come to enjoy, I love being able to walk a distance in the morning to go to class. Centennial Towers is a great community and I am happy that I get to live here in my first year of college. Even the opportunity to experience dorm life in a time of COVID-19 is something I am extremely grateful for.
