Legacy Residence Hall Dorm Reviews at East Carolina

My experience at Legacy has been very good. I get along with my roommate and everyone here. Everyone is so welcoming and you'll easily make friends here. The staff are always there when you need, and you have RA's that will help you however they can. Legacy may not be much but you wouldn't trade it for anything. It will easily be home.

My experience at legacy has been very good. You are provided with staff that treats you well and you have RA's on every floor that will help you the best way they can. Everyone here is very sweet and you get along with everyone. Honestly Legacy is not much but when you move here you wouldn't have it no other way. It will be home.

It’s really nice and quiet overall. The hall and bathroom gets cleaned everyday around the same time, they do a good job of keeping it clean. The people there are really nice and respectful. Great way to make new friends also.

When I first came there majority of the furniture damaged or broken and the cleanliness and up to date of the bathrooms especially the women’s was extremely disappointing concerning to my own health.

What an experience! Our dorms at Union University were private for each individual. We lived in suite type accommodations but had our own rooms. This was before the big tornado. Now everything is brand new.

My time at Legacy was somewhat okay. It is the only dorm without an elevator so moving in was 10 times worse. It's an older building so you'll notice things during your first week. I think ECU should remodel it soon. It's honestly not fair how we pay the same as other students but have fewer amenities than others. Yes, you can ask to switch dorms. However, by the time you get it approved, you won't want to have to move out (remember, no elevator!) and have to move into a different dorm.

The people there were nice, but as you walk down the hall you can hear everyone in their dorms. Also as you are in your room you can hear your neighbors conversations through the walls. One last, there is no elevator in the dorm so you have to use the stairs.
