Piano Row is a great dorm building because it feels like an off campus apartment. The amenities are great, and with a bit of decoration, it's easy to feel right at home. Additionally, there is a dini ng center inside the building that stays open really late at night. So if you are up late studying and need a snack or a drink, it's really easy and convenient.

The rooms in Piano Row are mainly suites, so it's a great way to meet new people by living in a larger space. The suites come with a bathroom, shower room, a small kitchen (you would need to bring your own fridge and/or microwave), and a common area with a few chairs and a couch. They're pretty nice and the rooms are a pretty good size if there's two people living/sleeping in there. What's great about living in Piano Row is that the Max store is in the same building. The Max is basically like a 7-11 and you can either grab snacks, ice cream, or actual meals like chicken fingers, burgers, grilled cheese, etc. Most of the people in Piano Row have been quiet an don't tend to be very loud. You will occasionally smell weed (especially on weekends) but if you just turn off the AC/heating for a little while you should be OK.

Piano Row is a great dorm building. Most of those who live there are sophomores and juniors and all the floors are relatively quiet, even on the weekends. The floors and common rooms are clean and everyone is usually really good at making sure there isn't trash lying around. The common rooms are smaller compared to other dorm buildings, but they have a TV and stove if you want to cook, as well as some seats so it's a nice little hangout. However, there's only a common room on the odd # floors, so if you end up on say the 8th floor, you'll need to go to either the 7th or 9th floor. The best part about Piano Row, though, is the Max. The Max is a small store, almost like a 7-Eleven, that also serves burgers, chicken tenders, fries, grilled cheese, etc., and you can get all sorts of snacks like chips, cookies, ice cream, microwaveable meals, and so much more. It's open till 1 a.m. so it's a great place to go to when you're up late finishing those assignments.

Living in Piano Row is great because The Max is in the same building and it's all suites so you only share the bathroom with your roommates. The kitchenette and living room area are also so nice to have. It makes it feel more like an apartment than a dorm hall and allows you to add more personalization to your space. If natural light and view is important to you then you should make sure to be early in choosing your room because some windows don't get a lot of sunlight or they face a brick wall.

The social aspect of Piano Row was not great. I lived in an 8 person suite which was too many people to live with. I enjoyed having the Max in the building and the view from the road side windows is great.
