I was a resident at the doubles in University Village at FAU for the fall and spring semesters of 2021. In terms of money, it is considered the cheapest dorm/apartment at FAU. So, if you want to save money I do recommend living there. I was in building 59 and I didn't have any noise issues although I could hear people going up or down the stairs on both sides of my room. There were times when I could hear the music above and below me if the music was really loud. Other than that, it was very quiet so no complaints from me about that. University Village isn't near the campus, so if you plan on going anywhere on campus, you'll either have to walk about 10-15 minutes to the campus or get a ride from your roommate or friend. I didn't have any issues regarding the bathroom or kitchen, but I do recommend making sure to keep everything clean to prevent bugs or ants from showing up. The room for doubles is a decent size and you should have enough room to place your belongings however you choose. From my experience, the staff was very nice and respectful to residents/guests whenever they had any questions or concerns. Other than that, University Village was a nice housing experience I recommend to anyone interested in living either by themselves or with a friend.
