Diamondback Apartments Dorm Reviews at GCU

For freshman apartments they were very nice! I didn't have the best experience with my roommates but the apartment itself was beautiful and in a decent location. It was a little far away from the middle of campus but was great!

Great Environment, little noisy. My apartment comes with a full kitchen which is great. Every suitemate has her own bedroom. Two bathrooms in total to share. Chick Fil A downstairs and pool outside. Great location on campus near parking garage.

i love diamond back appts its a good building and good spot on campus, my only complaint would have to be is that there is not enough counter space in the kitchen for cooking, but there is enough room for a table.

It's in the city so it can be a little loud sometimes, nothing intrusive though. Facilities are modern, some of the showers may be a little worse for wear. Those with sensitive stomachs may consider getting a water purifier for the tap.

Compared to the other dorms it’s great. It’s not too far from campus and the parking garage. It has a full kitchen that you can use. It also helps that GCBC and Chick-fil-A are right downstairs. Also the Lopes mart, fitness center, and swimming pool are in the next building over.

It is a well designed, nice apartment although i do feel it could use more counter space in the kitchen and bathroom. There is just not a whole lot of room the prep food but it is big enough you could add a table.

There are a lot of different options for housing when it comes to GCU, however, I enjoy where I live very much. I didn’t have a strong desire to live near the huddle of campus and diamondback is farther from that. I feel very safe, and would live in the same area again. Everything has been good except occasionally the noise of the construction across the street wakes me up.

At first I did not know how to feel about it coming into Diamondback Apartments, but after the first week i quickly grew into and began to love it. I loved the apartment style option that GCU gave me since I was coming from a different setting it was a huge upgrade from my previous year.
