Saguaro Hall Dorm Reviews at GCU

I am currently a freshman staying at Saguaro Hall. So far, the space is clean and the noise level is tolerable. The only issue that I have with the hall is the lack of room space, which is not large enough.

Grand Canyon University has very nice dorms compared to other universities. One common area is shared between 4 people, two people to a bedroom, and a bathroom connected to the bedroom. Also, a gym, pool, and convenience store are on ground level.

Overall, Saguaro is a very nice dorm. However, the location is not ideal. The closest parking garage is a 15 minute walk away which is pretty draining in Arizona heat. It is right next to a pool, gym, and a Lopes Mart though which is very convenient, but all other food is a 5-10 minute walk away.

Very laid back dorm. Most of the students were transfer students while I was there to help students relate to others going through similar experiences as they were. I was on the first floor and it was really easy to get in and out of my dorm.

Like most dorms, the walls in Saguaro Hall are very thin. However, it is maintained and cleaned on a regular basis. The furniture that is included in the rooms is sufficient and good quality. Additionally, the rooms are quite spacious and allow plenty of room for belongings.

Saguaro is a transfer dorm and meeting friends my age is easy. The set up for dorms at GCu are very upscale. We have our own bedrooms and share a common room which obtain a sink, stoarge, and couch. Maintenance workers are prompt with requests and do replacements for filters about every two weeks. The washers and dryers are slim and break often. It ould be beneficial to add more.

Saguaro is a transfer dorm in which GCU pplaces transfer students. It is easy to meet friends and the dorms are the perfect set up. Our common areas are large with a sink and couch and we have seperate bedrooms. These dorms are very upscale and I am thankful for GCU dorms.

saguaro has a very positive feeling atmosphere and relativity quiet halls with super nice staff. they hold their building to the highest standards with cleanliness. the only downside is how far off it is from the main campus

Saguaro is a perfect first-year dorm. It is nice and well kept, and in a great location. The Chap pool and gym are right next door, with Lopes Way being very close. I live on the fifth floor and very much enjoy it.
