I’ve enjoyed living here, especially as an athlete, this is the best dorm on campus as it’s closest to the athletic complex. It can be loud at night sometimes, but it’s worth it! I’ve made many friends here! more

Carlson International Center

The International Center is good for students with classes in Olin, Nobel, Beck, and Confer/Vickner because the buildings are very close. It is also relatively close to Lund and the cafeteria, allowing for a good distance between buildings. The building itself is also good with relatively low noise if you have good neighbors, great events of cultural cooking in the kitchen, and nice, spacious rooms. more

Pittman Hall

It's the best first-year dorm at Gustavus. The rooms are carpeted and have a sink, and the wardrobes are very spacious. If you can get into this dorm, I would recommend it highly over any others. The few (if you live on the south side) is gorgeous! more

Sorenson Hall

Sorenson is in a great location and very close to the caf. It is a good dorm for sophomores and has couches and tables downstairs to hang out with other people. When you are walking in the hallway though, you can hear into the rooms because their is not much of a sound barrier. more

Sohre Hall

My experience at Sohre this last semester has been one to remember! Starting my first year at Gustavus in Sohre Hall has opened up opportunities at making many new friends and creating great new experiences as well as environments to excel in academics. Sohre isn't very crowded or noisy, which allows me to get my worked done and study when I need too. However, I've met several good people who also live in Sohre. We are able to push and motivate each other towards our goals in school and in athletics. We are a tight unit and make great companions. more

Sorensen Hall

Sorensen's location is very close to the main dining hall which is super convenient compared to other dorms on campus. Does not have carpet within the rooms, and the closets are built in so you can't move them. Otherwise there is great window space if you are into that. There is also no water fountains accept for the first floor unlike Norelius hall. Considerably less parking spots than the Norelius hall, and you might have to drive around looking for a parking spot in general. more
